Description of the problem | The throttle body failed causing the vehicle to go into limp mode. This happened on a back road but if it had occurred on a two lane road while passing it could have been very dangerous. A trouble light came on but when the vehicle was turned off and back on again the trouble light was off and the truck would drive normally. The code was not held in the memory so the dealership would not change it under warranty. I know of one other person with the same year and power train that had the same problem. |
