Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. While driving approximately 45 mph, the vehicle downshifted into first gear without warning. The contact stated that the ignition was cycled off and on and the vehicle operated as intended for approximately 20 miles of driving before the failure recurred. The contact used an odb code reader to perform a diagnostic test on the vehicle, which indicated a p0722-output speed sensor failure. The vehicle was not repaired.
