Description of the problem | While driving on the interstate @ 75 miles per hour, the low brake fluid light came on. At that time i tried my brakes and the pedal went straight to the floor, started down shifting and using the parking brake to stop. Truck was towed to the ford dealership, dealer informed me that the master cylinder had leaked all fluid from the reservoir into the break booster and into vacuum lines. Could be up to a month to get parts to fix. Dealers said it looks like this is a problem and that is why the parts are on back order. Why is there no recall on this? |
