Description of the problem | While driving the driver was driving on the interstate, the car in front of him stopped. When the driver went to apply his brakes, the pedal went to the floor and he had no control of the brakes. He was able to avoid collision by pulling to the side of the road. The truck had to be towed to a dealership to be repaired. It was determined the brake booster and master cylinder failed and required replacement. Although we have several other 2014 f-150s that were included in recall 16s24, this one, we were told, was not. However, i believe it should have been. |
