Description of the problem	Airbag light has been coming on over the past couple years. I have taken the truck in to ford dealer service centers for multiple visits and have spent a considerable amount of time and money trying to solve. Most recently, the truck was at the dealer with the airbag light on and while troubleshooting, the light turned off. As soon as the light was off, there was nothing else that could be done other than returning to the service center if/when the light came back on. I have been told that if the airbag light is on, none of the airbags will deploy. This is a very serious safety concern for a modern vehicle that i have been prudent in trying to remediate but have not been able to resolve the issue. Regarding what specifically occurs, when starting the truck either the airbag light will be on or off. If the light is on, it typically remains on and does not shut off regardless of how long the truck is continuously operated. If the light is off, it remains off and does not come on regardless of how long the truck is continuously operated. I have not yet been able to detect a pattern (time of year, weather, amount of time since it was last driven) with when the airbag light comes on.
