Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. While at a stop sign, the accelerator pedal was depressed and failed to respond. The contact stated that the accelerator pedal required to be depressed violently in order to respond. The contact mentioned that the turbo booster failed to engage. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the driver side turbo needed to be replaced. In addition, the passenger side turbo o-ring needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred weeks later. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 5,000. |
