Description of the problem | At 31k miles i started to get a clunking noise in the right side rear. Took it to dealer, they checked it out and said it was due to play in the axle bearing. They said ford told them not to touch it because it was an inherent characteristic of the vehicle. I called ford and they told me the same thing. I filed a complaint with the bbb and ford told them there is no problem. When the truck flexes ( goes over uneven roads ) it sounds like rocks are bouncing around the bed. I was told by ford that this does not happen to all trucks, just some. The dealers hands are tied. Ford will not recognize that there is a problem. |
