Description of the problem | At highway speeds, on i-15 in utah at approximately 70 mph, traveling over an overpass bridge to the transition to the highway and hitting the bump the front wheels and related suspension including the steering wheel started to shake violently,.. A condition historically known as "death wobble". This did not cease until reducing speed to below 50 mph. Mileage on the vehicle was 10,141. Vehicle is completely stock with no modifications. After a tire rotation and inspection finding no visable issues the vehicle still continues to unexpectedly/randomly exhibit this problem. This occurs only at higher highway speeds and only after traveling over a transition or rough pavement typically assiciated with an overpass bridge. |
