Description of the problem | Since november 2018 when temperatures are below 32 degrees my doors will not close once opened on my f-150, until the lock is forced down.. The truck has been to the dealership multiple times for all frozen door latch recall (18no3). When the doors do close, by forcing the lock down, they will not reopen until the truck has warmed up. All four doors have been affected. My children have been locked in the back (crew cab). I have had to drive to the dealership holding the drivers door closed. The doors are a safety concern for my family and i, and ford has no fix for the problem. The dealership will not buy back the truck. The problem exist stationary and in motion. |
