Description of the problem | Rear window blow out. I turned on my vehicle this morning to warm up. I turned on the defrosters and went back inside for approximately 2 minutes. When i came back outside i could smell a electrical type burning smell. I am a firefighter and am familiar with this odor. No smoke or flames ever present/visible. I turned then suddenly heard a loud pop, realizing that both sides of my rear window had completely shattered. The vehicle was not moving. No one was in the vehicle and i was the only one near it. Nothing hit the window and i had never had the smell in my truck before. |
