Description of the problem | The running boards are supposed to automatically extend when the door is opened. Many times on both the driver side and passenger side will try to extend but will not stay, they immediately retract. This causes the occupant to have to take a very large step up into or out of the vehicle. Sometimes they fail completely to even try to extend at all when the door is opened. This occurs for both the front and back doors. This is when the vehicle is stopped. It happens when the vehicle is off and when it is on. |
