Description of the problem | Vehicle was parked in my garage and not started. Owner opened the front passenger side door to retrieve items located in the passenger seat. When owner closed the door, the back window of the vehicle exploded outward. This caused small pieces of shattered glass to land inside the truck bed and fall between the cab and bed of the truck. As vehicle was being driven to the ford dealership and back home, small pieces of glass were dispersed within the cab of the truck across the back seat. The window had no previous damage and the truck remains parked in owner's garage except when in use. No environmental factors contributed to this event. |
