Description of the problem | Steering oscillations aka "death wobble": at 60-65 mph or greater, the steering wheel oscillates violently and the vehicle is difficult to control. The oscillation only stops after lowering speed to about 10 mph. The vehicle has 23,000 miles. This is a repeated problem; the dealer fixed it before at about 12,000 miles, but the problem has returned. The problem occurs multiple times a day and usually at specific areas where there are particular bumps on the highway surface. |
