Description of the problem | Severe/violent shaking at highway speeds with any deviation in road surface (bridges/ transitions/potholes). First documented in 2018 around 20,000 miles. Ford dealer replaced steering components in april 2019 with 32470 miles. Wobble returned in july of 2019 at 39000 miles and continued to worsen. Brought back to dealer 9/25/19 and the reported no issues or repairs needed. Brought back to dealer again on 10/15/19 with 42k miles and the tech went for a test drive with me and a 5 minute trip it wobbled twice at highway speeds requiring significant braking to 35mph to avoid losing control of the vehicle. I'm afraid to drive the truck on the highway for fear of death/injury. Ford is ordering the same parts that were replaced in april 2019. |
