Description of the problem | I had previously reported 11174271. The truck in question was previously brought to the dealer and the steering dampner was found to be faulty and replaced. Approximately 10k miles later the issue reoccured when i was traveling 50 mph on a bridge. I nearly crashed into a concrete barrier and ended up regaining control after stopping completely on the bridge (the traffic around me stopped too). I slowly drove to the shoulder and clamed down. This was almost a multi-car accident on a bridge. Because the steering dampner was previously replaced, there is something else causing this malfunction. This truck is being traded in with a different brand truck. |
