Description of the problem | While driving on interstate 64, going over kaskaskia river bridge i experienced a violent shaking, bouncing up and down of the front tires. I think they call this the death wobble. I was going approx 72 mph, tire psi 65, truck mileage 24,600 mi. The truck was lightly loaded and not towing. All maintenance has been done by the ford dealership from new. I had to brake and pull onto the shoulder, slowing to 20 mph before i regained control of the truck. I took truck to dealer the next day, they said there was a service bulletin on it and ordered parts. Parts are backordered with no delivery date. |
