Description of the problem | At approximately 60-70 mph, the vehicle may experience a very violent shaking in the steering wheel, jerking back and forth left to right a few inches. This is not caused by any driver input. It has only occurred while going straight. Any small bumps(railroads tracks, pothole, etc) may start or exacerbate the shaking, but hitting anything small objects such as afore mentioned does not guarantee the shaking will or will not occur. Usually the shaking of the steering wheel will recede when the brakes are applied and speed is reduced. |
