Description of the problem | Experience what is called the "death wobble", severe steering oscillation. Traveling at highway speed 60 mph or better hit a bump in the road. Oscillation started, to regain positive control of vehicle i had to reduce speed to under 35 miles an hour. In traffic at 60 mph is extremely dangerous if there is no shoulder or if you are in the fast lane. Luckily each time this occurs i have been in a rural area. If i were on the dc beltway and this occurred, without a doubt this would cause a multiple vehicle event with injuries.. |
