Description of the problem | My truck has 25,600 miles on it. While driving at approximately 70 mph i went over a bridge expansion joint. The resulting shake/oscillation in the steering caused me to almost lose control of the vehicle. I had to slow from 70 to 25 mph to regain control causing a serious safety issue for myself and those on the road behind me. This happened without warning and other than this instance, the driving characteristics of the truck have not changed since new. I. E. The truck does not vibrate or wander and everything seems normal. To put into perspective how violent the shaking was, my wife screamed that we had a tire blow out! |
