Description of the problem | Experienced "death wobble" 5 times now in this truck. While traveling at highway speed 70 mph plus and hitting small pot hole, expansion joint at bridge or just uneven road surface truck will start to violently shake uncontrollably. It takes a rigid grip with both hands to try and control vehicle and stops shaking only after reducing speed to 30 mph or below. This truck has actually caused me to have lower back pain and wrists on both hands hurting for days after an occurrence. The problem started at 12961 miles at which time ford replaced the steering damper hc3z-3e651-f. The problem reoccurred at 26238 miles and sits at a ford dealership now as they said no parts are avalible to fix. |
