Description of the problem | Severe shaking of front end after hitting a small bump while driving in a 5 lane city street at aprox 60 mph that pulled the vehicle into another lane. The vehicle was driving straight at the time of the occurrence. Ford corporation is aware of this issue and has established a service bulletin (tsb 19-2274 see attached). The incident required me to pull over to the side of the road for the vehicle to stop the steering from shaking vigorously. I was able to avoid hitting another vehicle by pulling over. The steering damper on the vehicle is a known problem that ford has found to be the issue. |
