Description of the problem | When driving the truck at highway speeds, the steering wheel goes into an uncontrollable whipping, or the famous "death wobble" after you hit bumps in the road. You need to bring the truck down in speed to get it to stop. This condition is not safe on the highway with traffic around you, and is very upsetting and scary when it happens. This happens at highway speeds after you hit bumps. This happened to me twice on our trip back from florida to wisconsin. I had a 5th wheel camper attached to the truck when this happened, so i was even more afraid of losing control with that amount of trailer in tow. |
