Description of the problem | On october 25, 2018 my car populated a cel code p0087 after ignition when the car was stationary. The car takes about 5 seconds to start half the time. The turbo is disabled and had reduced acceleration, which the dealer said was crawl mode. When i took it to the dealer, they said the code was caused by the defective purge valve damaging my fuel pump and would be covered under by recall 18s32. They said that my car is not safe to drive but that ford has disapproved the request for a loaner car, and that parts are backordered. When i called ford customer service on 1/4/2019, they said they do not provide loaner cars for this recall and advised me that me vehicle was safe to drive. |
