Description of the problem | Transmission failure. Car was stopped in a parking lot and hill assist light came on, warning on info center screen saying hill assist unavailable. When trying to move forward car reved like it was in neutral, info center showing "d". Moved shift lever to park, no change on info screen, reverse and drive no change. Shut off car and car would not start like it was in gear. Placed lever in park and removed foot from brake and car started rolling. Moved car to parking spot with lever in park and info screen showing drive. Only parking brake kept car from moving. |
