Description of the problem	While driving on highway at 65-70mph, transmission downshifted from 6th gear to 3rd then to 1st, followed by free spun in neutral. Vehicle was nearly hit by several vehicles due to extreme deceleration during rush hour traffic. Luckily we we are able to get safely off the highway without being injured. Vehicle experience warning indicators for transmission failure, hill start failure, parking assist failure, and service engine soon light. Attempted restart did not clear and warnings and car would no longer shift into any gears. Vehicle was subsequently towed to nearest dealer. The transmission has been repaired/serviced 3 previous times by the dealer.
