Description of the problem | Ford has sold a car to millions of people that is unsafe for the road. I've had numerous occasions of failures with the transmission where it will suddenly not accelerate, causing undue danger my family and myself. This car should be fully recalled to replace the transmission in its entirety. The failure by the nhtsa to do so even years after the problem was known with the dps6 transmission is a absurd lack of safety oversight. My wife and child were almost hit by a tractor trailer due to the car not accelerating pulling into traffic, this is far from the first instance. They could have easily died from this and other occasions. My family is scared to be in this vehicle after numerous occasions of similar situations happening. Every day you do not do a full recall, you risk more lives being in danger. |
