Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford focus. The contact stated that the transmission would hesitate when shifting between gears. The manufacturer advised that the action was normal for a 2-clutch transmission within the first 5000-6000 miles. The contact stated that the failure continued for an additional 10,000 miles. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who performed service to the transmission but the failure persisted. In addition, the transmission emitted an abnormal ding when completing a turn in either direction. Or when shifting between first and second gears. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 20 and the current mileage was 13,300. |
