Description of the problem | The trunk doesn't remain closed. This has been occurring for almost a year. While the vehicle is in motion, the trunk will randomly open. It doesn't matter what type of road i'm traveling on, i. E. Residential streets, major streets, the freeways. I have removed all items from the trunk and the problems continues to persist. The car dealer has not deemed the trunk latch as defective as they find nothing wrong with it. This is a serious safety hazard as there is no warning when the trunk will pop open. |
