Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. While driving, the vehicle slowed down and the rpms suddenly increased, which caused the vehicle to speed up again. The contact took the vehicle to vista ford lincoln of oxnard (1501 auto center dr, oxnard, ca 93036, (805) 983-6511) and they re-calibrated the engine. The vehicle's performance improved, but the failure recurred and worsened. The vehicle was taken to another unknown ford dealer and they replaced the transmission control module and the transmission clutch. After a couple of months, the failure recurred. The dealer stated that the transmission clutch needed to be replaced again. The dealer wanted to charge for the repair since it was no longer covered by the warranty.
