Description of the problem | Vehicle broke down on highway and had to pull off to shoulder. Tach raced and the vehicle sputtered and eventually stalled. Emergency pull off to shoulder. Extremely dangerous. After 45 min car roughly started, and i could pull vehicle to a safer location. Very dangerous! Limped the car to dealership. After 6-7 days and $1300. 00 the dealership claimed i had a failed pump assembly, sensor, and coil assembly. Fuel injector #4 was replaced!! * weather during issue was rainy! ** just happened again - 5/5/2015!! See report #2 - so unhappy with ford for making this a potential walk condition. People can die from this! |
