Description of the problemCar stalled while driving down a major highway, had to have it towed. Ford has no current fix for the recall on the pcv valve. The only solution they gave me was to keep the fuel tank above half full ("until the vehicle is serviced for this concern customers are advised to maintain at least 1/2 tank of fuel") , however when the issue occurred for the second time i had over 3/4 of a tank. Ive called the customer service line and also talked to the dealership from where i bought the vehicle. Would not offer a rental car because the car is still deemed safe to drive ("an engine stall while driving without warning or without the ability to restart, can increase the risk of a crash.")... Although in the recall letter received says "may increase risk of crash". Also with this recall they say "causing the plastic fuel tank to deform, resulting in an inaccurate or erratic fuel gauge indication" how am i to keep more than a half a tank if the vehicle does not register the correct amount of fuel in the tank. The car is a 2014 and has 54000miles..
