Description of the problem | Vehicle has extreme shutter/lurching forward when accelerating from a stopped position. The focus has been taken in for service on four different occasions and computer updates have been made. We continue to experience the same jerking during acceleration but have been told by the service manager and also the owner of the dealership that this is "normal" for the ford focus. We feel that this is very dangerous and could cause an accident when it lurches forward especially in heavy (bumper to bumper) traffic. |
