Description of the problem | 2014 ford focus - 28,000 miles: transmission fault service now: while driving on a toll bridge at 80 mph the car started to jerk and the following lights appeared: brake-abs-car on road-car on road off: i was able to coast off the toll and park in an exxon. I had the car towed to maxwell ford. It took them eight days to "fix" the problem module transmission control. They extended the warranty: 10 years, 150,000 miles. I am driving it now, but the car is now pulling while driving and shuddering, hesitating and then jerking. To have a new car completely shut down on a toll highway, with cars coming at you at 85mph was the most insanely scary, dangerous & life threatening experience i have ever had in my life. I trusted ford with my safety, my money and my life. Why isn't this problem under recall? Someone is going to get killed behind this problem. |
