Description of the problem | Transmission slipping, rough start, grinding noise. Vehicle has been serviced numerous time. Passenger side front hub and lower arm replaced due to failure of a bearing. Vehicle taken in for the slipping/ rough start, the clutch is on back order. Was told by the service adviser that approximately 38,000 consumers nationwide are waiting for the same part for the same issue. He also advised that the vehicle will always have this issue from having a duel clutch system, and that ford will not cover any costs past the warranty 36k/50k |
