Description of the problem	2014 ford focus with the faulty dual clutch transmission. Clutch was replaced at 25k miles which fixed the problem for a short time. Numerous trips afterwards to the dealership resulted in them simply 'resetting it to ford specifications'. The dealer never made any more attempts to replace or fix while under warranty. As the latest report states the dealerships were having a hard time getting paid by ford motor co. Which explains a lot. Once out of warranty they instantly said the clutch needs replaced. The dealer could not state though that it would fully fix the issue knowing it would most likely happen again. Recalibrating the diagnostics never fixed the problem of the car constantly shifting into neutral from first. Most dangerous would be when at a stop light facing up hill as it would sit there searching for 1st gear when trying to accelerate. At low speeds the car always lurched and hesitated as it couldn't find what gear to be in. This has been the downfall of a rather great car and an embarrassment whenever giving someone else a ride.
