Description of the problem | I purchased this car new and the transmission has had issues from day one. Transmission chatters, surges, and jumps out of gear and then bangs back in sitting still or driving. The vehicle only has 21k miles on it. They have done numerous updates to make them work properly and they still don't work. I am 61 years old and have been a car enthusiast my whole life and this is the most dangerous transmission i've ever owned. I had told ford service 6 months after i owned it that this transmission should have never been put in a production car. Of course nobody cares, everybody got there money now. It's a shame people have to die to fix a problem that everyone that owns one and including ford already knows exists. |
