Description of the problem | Ford (multiple models and years) door latch recall. I had already submitted a request to add our vehicle to the recall list. Ford started a recall regarding the latch on their doors malfunctioning, causing them to just swing open and not stay closed. Our 2014 ford focus had this problem despite us trying to fix it and close the passenger side back door multiple times. Ford refused to fix the problem without charging us because our vin number was not included in the recall, but we still had the exact same problem. |
