Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2016 ford focus. The contact stated that when she stops and then re-accelerates her vehicle, the clutch loses power. When driving at 60 mph the vehicle lost power and dropped to 40 mph but regained power in about 40 seconds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer bedford ford lincoln (10050 in-37, bedford, in 47421, (812) 279-8121) where they adjusted the clutch to a 216 level of rpms. The failure recurred and the dealer stated that when the vehicle comes back for service on november 11, 2018, the would adjust the clutch to a higher rpm level. The manufacturer had not been contacted. The failure mileage was 13,000. The vin was not available. |
