Description of the problem | Tl* the consumer owns a 2016 ford focus. The consumer stated that while they were accelerating from a stop, the transmission started to jerk and hesitate. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The consumer called superior ford of plymouth (9705 56th ave n, plymouth, mn 55442, (877) 735-4755) and was informed that there was no recall on the vehicle. The contact stated that the same dealer calibrated the vehicle a year ago, but the failure recurred intermittently. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to nhtsa.
