Description of the problem | I currently have a safety recall for a failed thermistor on my charging cable for my 2014 ford fusion energi plugin hybrid. Safety recall states that there is a chance of fire when plugging in the car to my home outlet using the charging cable that comes with the vehicle. My ford dealership is aware and i have reached out multiple times about a replacement but there are none in stock. So at this time i do not feel it is safe to charge my vehicle until a new charging cable that meets the safety requirements with new thermistor is provided.
