Description of the problem | I was driving on i-95 at about 70 mph, i received steering fault service now message and it went away after i hit ok. The car was still controllable as i didn't have hard time steering left and right. I didn't notice any unusual activity of the car. About an hour after i got that caution message, i stop to gas the car. When i started the engine backup, i received the same message plus three new ones. They are, steering loss stop for safety, hill start assist unavailable, and something about the advanctrac. I ended up towing it all the way back to norfolk from emporio. I was lucky enough to have that happened when my car wasn't on the highway. But the the towing cost is really hurtful. Sad part is, i just got my car serviced plus multi-point inspection by ford dealer on dec 20th, 2017. Everything was reported as good, apparently not. |
