Description of the problem | With absolutely no previous issues, the car started overheating while driving on the highway. I was able to make it home after turning on the heat (on a 90 degree day) and riding it out. It turned out my car was out of coolant, which was odd. We filled it and my check engine light came on, then my car sat for about a week, the battery was dead and when it was jumped every warning came up on my dash and my engine was in limp mode. Turns out my cylinder cracked and coolant was flooding my engine. After some research, it turns out it's a common problem with the model's engine and ford hasn't done anything to remedy it. |
