Description of the problem | While returning from vacation in georgia, i was gassing up in south carolina when i placed my car in park and it started to roll away. I immediately used the parking brake to stop the vehicle. Tried to shift in another gear and the shifter would not move. Had car towed to local ford dealer in hardeeville, sc on july 7th, 2018. They could not diagnose the problem until monday july 9th, 2018. Car was diagnosed and found out that the shifting cable had broke. They located part and repaired the car on july 10th, 2018. Not only did i have to pay for the car repair out of my own pocket, because extended warranty did not cover, i acquired and additional 3 nights of lodging while waiting for my car to be repaired. |
