Description of the problem	I had an issue on my 14 fusion. Of the shifter separating from the transmission. I noticed the problem when i shifted my car into the park position and removed my foot from the break, allowing my car to pull forward again. Thankfully i was in a parking area with plenty of room. No one was hurt and no property damage was sustained. This problem leaves you with no transmission controls. Ford does have a recall on the very problem my car experienced but, unfortunately for me my car was not included, leaving me to fix the problem myself. Ford needs to expand the recall since it is obviously a bigger problem then they believe with my car having this same failure. The last recall they fixed ,seatbelt on front passenger, has only had more issues of retracting then before the service, does make me wonder if it's not better that i repaired the failure personally. It failed at 90k but i have had no more issues after a 20 dollar repair.
