Description of the problem | I have a 2014 ford fusion with 38,000 miles on it. The driver's door won't close. There's a safety recall (15s16) on this issue. I took the car to surprise ford (with the door roped shut), and they told me that the recall doesn't cover my vin. They told me to open a case with ford, so i did cas[xxx]. Ford told me the same thing. How can they not cover my vin (and others like mine) if my vehicle is experiencing the issue? I think coverage of this will force ford to do the right thing and expand their recall before someone gets hurt. What if the door flew open in traffic? Contact stated driver' front latch was replaced. ( |
