Description of the problem | I received a written notice from ford corporate that my vehicle was subject to a recall concerning door latch springs. It directed me to record the model number of each of the four door latches. This i did and was further directed to go online to web site to record the numbers. The web site doesn't exist and when you go there you get a fault 404. When i then called my local dealer,ford country in henderson, nv they made me an appointment for them to check the latches. When i arrived at the appointed time, i was told that i must leave the vehicle over night as there were 18 other vehicles ahead of me. Why would a dealership schedule 19 vehicles at the same time for a visual inspection which took me less than 15 minutes to perform? |
