Description of the problem | Driving from ca to co for christmas. While driving down the road, the "door open" light came on and the chime sounded as locked left rear door opened!! Unacceptable for a company that has made vehicles for over 100 years! I did a google search on the problem looking for a fix. I found a recall for years 2013-2014 only. No recall for my 2015, when it is obvious the cost saving measures still apply. I had to tie the door closed with the seatbelt, but it's not tight enough to keep the warnings off. No one can sit in the back seat due to seatbelts being used! We are afraid the other door latches will soon fail as well. We still have to drive back to ca! *dt *dl |
