Description of the problem | There are no replacement parts and no repairs available for the air bag recall. It is extremely frustrating to keep hearing on the news that people need to get their car in for repairs only to be told there are no parts! It's been over a year of waiting. And while we let the car sit for awhile, it now has to go off to college with my son. I do not feel comfortable sending a dangerous car to college! And yet what choice do i have? I can't sell the car with a recall on it and expect to get what i need out of it. I really need the government to acknowledge this is a grave concern and stop telling us to bring our cars in when there are no parts to fix the problem! It would also help if there was a buyback program to get these dangerous cars off the road! |
