Description of the problem | Takata recall: i just purchased this mustang from a moses dealership in town, they did not make me aware of the recall. When i called another dealership's service dept for assistance, they stated that ford will not let them order the replacement part, that ford only sends a limited number of the part to dealers and will not tell them how many they will receive or when they will receive them. They added me to their waiting list. This recall could cause serious injury or death and i'm just suppose to drive my car like there's nothing to worry about? Please advise on how i should proceed. The recall was issued in 2015, one would think a dealership would be made to replace that part before selling the vehicle to someone. |
