Description of the problem | from day 1 until present with 6400 miles, this car on hard acceleration, brings in exhaust fumes so severe that the fumes will make you physically sick and will even set off a carbon dioxide detector ( this happens with all windows shut and the air on recirculate). Normal driving, no problem if engine rpms are kept below 1500 rpm --- but---- don`t try to get up to speed merging on a freeway or any high revving situation. Ford dealer won`t do anything until it throws a computer code, which it has not. Ford customer service is a joke after spending hours on the phone. I think i bought a modern yugo. |
